April English is a Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse with certification in Maternal/Newborn Nursing and is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. April has over 32 years of nursing experience and has been dedicated to providing care to mothers and babies her entire career. Her passion lies in helping families navigate the journey of new parenthood .
Newborn Hive is located in Wylie, Tx . Our provider will travel within 30-45 minutes of the area. Newborn Hive provides a variety of services and parenting support. This includes pre and post natal education, lactation consults, and daytime postpartum support for both mother and baby. In home care is provided from before birth to 3 months post delivery. Our provider can even come to the hospital if needed. If there is a service that is not listed please feel free to ask , our provider is willing to negotiate to help if possible. Would you like additional support in the first few weeks after giving birth? We provide daytime post partum care for both mother and baby. This consists of physical assessments of both mother and baby, helping with feedings, help with pumping, doing infant laundry, wash bottles, clean kitchen, light cleaning of nursery and living area. Will bathe baby if needed. Pamper mom with foot/leg/shoulder massage. Will premake snacks and overnight oats (you provide the ingredients). Will provide binder to track infant's day. Assist with implementing infants daily routine and set up of "play" area and if needed provide a list of items that will make taking care of baby easier.
